A technical build seat inside real institutional AI deployments across the Caribbean.

Levantto is the exclusive Caribbean and Latin American reseller for NeuralSeek, an enterprise AI orchestration and governance platform used by hospitals, banks, telecoms, and governments to deploy generative AI without surrendering control over accuracy, data, or compliance. We build and own the governance layer around that platform — the assurance and implementation work that lets regulated institutions actually trust what they're putting into production.

Several large institutional clients — financial regulators, telecoms, and government ministries across the region — are moving from evaluation into deployment right now. This role exists because that pipeline is real, and because we've deliberately chosen to build this capability with Caribbean-based talent rather than default to larger, more obvious markets. For our clients, a regional engineer isn't a compromise — for many, on data sovereignty grounds alone, it's the preference.

This is the technical build seat inside client engagements. The organizational work — what a client actually needs, how their processes run, what "done" looks like — is directed by Levantto's founder throughout. You'll be given clear direction on what to build and how it needs to be set up, and your job is to execute that well under ongoing guidance: configuring, integrating, and deploying NeuralSeek implementations against messy, real-world client systems.

That said, this isn't a passive build-to-spec role either. You'll be in the room as decisions get made, and you need to think alongside us in real time — spotting what's technically possible, flagging what won't work, offering a better path when one exists. You're the lead engineer on the technical execution, working under close, iterative oversight — contributing sharp technical thinking within direction, not running the engagement independently.

The engagement starts small and part-time, paced to client onboarding, paid hourly. As client work scales, so does the role — including, case by case, travel to meet clients directly across the Caribbean.

  • Configure and deploy NeuralSeek implementations against client data, knowledge bases, and workflows — retrieval pipelines, guardrails, and agentic workflows — under Levantto's direction on scope and requirements
  • Build and maintain the integration layer between client web/backend systems and AI APIs — consuming RESTful services, handling asynchronous data flows, and writing clean, modular, testable code in TypeScript/Node.js
  • Join client-facing technical sessions and contribute directly to problem-solving — thinking through what's possible, what's practical, and how to get there
  • Surface technical data-readiness issues — fragmented systems, legacy formats — as they come up during implementation
  • Work closely with Levantto's founder and NeuralSeek's technical team on the day-to-day build, bringing sharp technical judgment to execution details while staying within the direction and oversight set for each engagement

We are far less interested in your job history than in evidence that you think clearly under ambiguity and teach yourself what you don't yet know. Plenty of strong candidates for this role won't have a conventional employment record yet — that's fine. What we need is proof of the following:

Technical core

  • Solid command of HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid), and JavaScript fundamentals
  • Demonstrable experience writing real logic in TypeScript and building backend services in Node.js
  • Fluency consuming REST APIs and handling asynchrony (Promises, async/await) — ideally with some hands-on LLM or AI API integration
  • Real, demonstrated engagement with applied AI or retrieval-augmented generation — through projects, coursework, or self-directed work you can show us

Judgment and composure

  • A track record of finishing things you started on your own initiative — a working project, a thesis, a real contribution — over credentials alone
  • Comfort building against undocumented, imperfect systems, and working well within iterative guidance
  • Composure in a room with a client executive or government stakeholder — a sharp technical thought, without over-promising or freezing
  • Working fluency in Spanish and English; comfort across both is a strong advantage given our regional footprint
  • A genuine pull toward staying and building a career in Caribbean AI and technology, rather than treating this as a stepping stone elsewhere

Use the link below to send your resume and covering summary. We're not looking for the perfectly polished resume, nor an impressive list of places you've worked. Your résumé is the smaller part of this application — what we actually want to see is evidence of how you think and what you've built.

Show us more than a résumé.

Along with your résumé, share whatever best demonstrates your resourcefulness and self-driven learning: a project you built, a course or certification you pursued on your own initiative, a write-up of something you figured out that nobody assigned you, a GitHub repository, or a short note on an AI problem you find genuinely interesting and why. We would rather see one real example of independent thinking than a long list of formal qualifications.

If this is the kind of work that excites you — and if you want to help build something real, in this region, at the front edge of how institutions are learning to use AI responsibly — we want to hear from you. Fill out the form just below.
