FOR EDUCATION

Building capacity, values-based visioning, with a focus on strengthening teacher training to support empowerment, holistic teaching-learning, and sustainability and service.

Levanto works with schools, educators, and educational organisations seeking to strengthen leadership, clarify vision and values, and build the capacity required for meaningful learning.

We work with educators and school leaders in navigating complexity, aligning practice with shared principles, and translating values and moral purpose into lived reality—across teaching, leadership, and the wider life of the school. Rather than introducing external models, we work alongside educational communities to strengthen the internal capacities through which empowerment, holistic learning, and long-term sustainability can take root.

We partner with educational communities across diverse contexts—from individual schools to broader systems—working with school networks, boards, and ministries of education to support both practice and direction.

This may include advising on curricular priorities, contributing to system-level refinement for holistic teaching and learning, and developing coherence across initiatives, while remaining grounded in the lived realities of educators and classrooms.

Engagements often include strengthening leadership and team alignment, addressing challenges related to classroom culture and behaviour, cultivating deeper student motivation and agency, and exploring how learning environments—including service, collaboration, and sustainability initiatives—can more meaningfully integrate into classrooms and support holistic development.

Drawing on over 20 years of experience in educational development across very diverse global contexts, we support curriculum review and design, character and values-based learning, and whole-school approaches that integrate purpose, service leadership, and moral development into the fabric of educational practice and spaces.

Empowering Learning Environments

We support not only the training and capacity building of teachers development of learning, but the design of the environments in which learning takes place.

Our experience spans whole-school frameworks, community-integrated models, and sustainability-focused environments that align physical space, culture, and purpose.

Whole-School &
System Design

Supporting the development of learner-centered school models, governance structures, and integrated approaches to learning and leadership.

Community & Service Integration

Designing educational approaches and advising top-level systemic adjustments that connect learning with community life, service leadership, and practice-based learning modalities.

Sustainable Learning Environments

Contributing to projects aligned with frameworks such as Passive House, Living Building Challenge, and regenerative design principles.

Built Environment & Educational Vision

Experience supporting the development of Indigenous and Montessori educational environments — from early concept through implementation — aligning space, culture, and pedagogy.

Where we Focus

Our work in education typically centers around a few key areas, adapted to the needs and realities of each context.

These areas often intersect — and our work is designed to bring them into greater alignment and coherence.

Leadership & School Culture

Strengthening the capacity of school leaders and teams to foster trust, alignment, and shared direction.

Learning & Curriculum Design

Supporting curriculum reflection and design that integrates meaningful learning, values, and real-world relevance.

Values & Character Development

Embedding purpose, service, virtues, and moral development into educational content, classrooms, and school dynamics.

Whole-School Transformation

Working across leadership, systems, and classroom practice to support coherent, uplifting, and enabling learning environments.

Experience Across Contexts

Our work in education is grounded in over two decades of experience across diverse contexts — from contributing to the founding and development of schools and educational initiatives, to supporting curriculum design, policy development, and system-level reflection across multiple countries.

This includes working alongside educators and communities to design learning environments that are culturally responsive, values-based, and capable of supporting meaningful and lasting outcomes.

Example of school-based innovation integrating sustainability learning, environmental curricula, service learning, and community engagement.

This experience spans both formal and non-formal education, including teaching, facilitation, program design, and long-term collaboration with educational teams and leaders.

Across these contexts, the focus has remained consistent: strengthening the capacity of educators and systems to align purpose, practice, and learning in ways that are coherent, human-centered, and sustainable over time.

In some contexts, this has involved working from the earliest stages of school design through to long-term development and sustained implementation.

A Different
Approach

Many consulting approaches focus on external frameworks, self-help motivational techniques, short-term improvements, or surface-level change.

Our work is different. We focus on strengthening the internal capacity of people and systems — supporting alignment, coherence, and the ability to sustain meaningful change over time.

Our approach is grounded in established research and practice, drawing on fields such as neuroscience, transformative learning, adult education, and systems theory.

1. We build capacity, not dependency

We work alongside teams to strengthen internal capability — not create reliance on external expertise.

2. We align purpose, practice, and systems

Lasting change happens when values, structures, and daily practice move in coherence.

3. We work within context, not on top of it

Every organization is different. Our work responds to local realities rather than imposing fixed models.

4. We focus on sustainable transformation

Not quick wins — but meaningful, lasting change that continues beyond our engagement.

How We Work

Engagements range from focused consultations to long-term partnerships, depending on context and need.

Step 1 — Listening & Understanding

We begin by listening deeply — engaging leadership, educators, and stakeholders to understand context, challenges, and aspirations.

Step 2 — Co-Design

We work alongside your team to shape a direction that is aligned, practical, and rooted in your values and goals, and that is built to integrate into existing goals and strategies..

Step 3 — Implementation & Capacity Building

Through workshops, facilitation, and ongoing support, we strengthen internal capacity and support meaningful shifts in practice.

Step 4 — Reflection & Sustainability

We support systems to reflect, adapt, and sustain change over time — ensuring the work continues beyond any single engagement.
